Pimp My Coop
So we have a lovely coop that is right for our little family. But as winter is on the way, we decided to get a heat source, and while we were at it, make some adjustments.
First, to cut down on the poop in the nesting boxes, we added a top.
Next, we moved the roost to the north side, and added another roost. The flat screen looking thing is a little heater. We need to figure out when it needs to be on, but we’ll get there.
We put the extra straw bales on the north side. All in all it is a cozy little coop.
