New Digs and (Potential) New Chicks

The little chicks are not so little now. So we needed to get them into their own coop as soon as possible.

Bee Update

Our two hives are thriving! Last weekend we checked our bees. We have two hives-north hive and south hive.

Less is More

We’ve tried to have a gigantic garden for the last few years. For one reason or another, it just didn’t produce a whole lot. One thing that is an issue is overcrowding. So we are going for fewer plants.

Coming Home

All good things must come to an end. So we had to say goodbye to the cabin and start for home.

Holy Subaru Batman!

Our lovely weekend at the lake was stymied by the weather. It rained all night on Saturday night and all day Sunday. So we went on the Legacy Trail scenic drive. It was a mite boggy.

Kayaking

The good news I’d we like kayaking. The bad news is we aren’t graceful when we get in and out. I managed to both fall in the lake *and* skin my knees. CW: blood.
