Winter Update
So we’ve had lots of changes on the homestead since we moved in. What did we do last year?
Last Year We:
Hatched our own chickens
Put in Bees:
Built a new coop from this book:
Got the tiniest bit of asparagus:
And a couple of Granny Smith Apples. We also have a Fuji.
We put in two more apple trees: a honeycrisp and another Granny Smith.
We also cut down to trees that were planted too close to the house. We have several dogwoods and redbuds in temporary spots. Waiting for a bit more infrastructure.
