I’m trying to eat healthy and cut carbs. To that end, I am trying for more vegetables in my life. This was my lunch today.

Charcuterie Building

So we went to a party on Saturday. With actual people. Shocking I know. It was out of town, and pot luck so i needed to have something that travels. So I decided on a charcuterie board.

Apples!

Every year (but last year, because *gestures broadly at 2020*) we buy a couple of apple trees. It’s pretty much a crap shoot on whether they produce. This year was a pretty good year for two of our six trees.

Creamed Honey

So one of our best sellers is creamed honey. It has a nice mellow taste, and is easy to make.

Varmlandskorv Attempt

So when we were in Lindsborg, we went to the Crown and Rye and had a wonderful dish, Varmlandskorv. It was a potato sausage in braised cabbage with beef broth. I had it with pea soup.
