Apples!

Every year (but last year, because *gestures broadly at 2020*) we buy a couple of apple trees. It’s pretty much a crap shoot on whether they produce. This year was a pretty good year for two of our six trees.

We have two Fuji, two Granny Smith, and two Honeycrisp. This year one of the Fujis and one of the Granny Smiths produced.

It’s so fun to be able to just wander out and pick an apple. But the Fuji’s were starting to get overripe, so I picked all of those.

The Granny Smiths are just ripe, so I only picked about half.

Next up cold storage for the winter.

We don’t have a huge amount, but we want to eat every last one of these.
