So I read my seventh book.
I kept seeing posts about using kitchen waste to grow more food. We tried in our tiny kitchen window (I dream of getting rid of the cabinets above the sink and putting in a huge window), and it worked, until we got busy and forgot. But we are trying again.
Aloe Vera, onions, lettuce seeds, beets (but only beet tops will grow), garlic, romaine, and celery.
I also planted some seeds from a mandarin orange for giggles.
We’ve turned over one half of the office to an indoor garden and craft area, because our mud room is (1) a mess and (2) cold as heck.
