Our “last” day of vacation was in Calgary. After a leisurely breakfast, we got ready to leave. Most of the stuff in Calgary was closed, because it was the Easter holiday, but we did have some time to wander around.
Sadly, we had to go home. So we originally planned on renting a car the whole time we were in Banff, not realizing that was stupid. So we just rented one for the drive to Calgary.
The second day in Banff took us to the south of town. Banff has a lot of really great things, walkability is one of them. We were at a hotel right in the middle of the tourist area. I love all of the medallions… Continue Reading “Loving Banff!”

Where did I leave off? I think at the Science museum. Nope… gastown. So we get on the hop-on/hop-off bus, which we are beginning to think is a scam. They are never around. But we get on there, and encountered Ron. Ron, will be… Continue Reading “Van City Rainforest”
This morning we too the hop on/hop off bus to the Science museum – it was a bit of a cluster because of a marathon. So we got off in Chinatown. Next time, Sun Yat Sen Garden.
