Bye bye Banff.

Sadly, we had to go home. So we originally planned on renting a car the whole time we were in Banff, not realizing that was stupid. So we just rented one for the drive to Calgary.

We started by heading up to Lake Louise.

It took a while to realize these were for wildlife to cross. Somewhere in wolf heaven, Pluie is wagging her tail.

Castle mountain is majestic af.

Not entirely sure what I was expecting, since it’s April in the great White North, but Lake Louise was frozen over.

But lunch had a lovely view.

And the cliffs and ice were beautiful.

Oh, and I lied a few days ago, while the blue river water may be glacial, it is blue because it is alkaline.

So, Canada’s rivers?
