…a funny thing happened on the way to the bar
We busted our butts and finished the bee structure just in time.
We started early with another coat of paint.
Then once it dried, we moved on to the roof. I’m still recovering-so I’m not steady enough on the ladder. But I did what I could.
Once we got the roof on, it was time for rocks.
We hauled a bunch over and raked it sort of level. It will level out as we use it.
And we even installed my fountain.
A short break and it was bee time!
Our supplier is about an hour away, which seems much shorter now that we aren’t in a panicked rush. No storm, not dusk, just a lovely day to work outside.
Then papusas and plantains, because my favorite Salvadoran restaurant is down the street from our bee guy.
