Yesterday we decided to go on a scenic drive. We started in Park City, and headed south (maybe? Directions here are not cemented in my brain yet).

It’s been a cool wet summer, so the flowers were wonderful.

We had some wrong turns that were serendipitous. Ended up at a cute store in Brighton, and found a good restaurant near Solitude.

It’s hard to see, but the entire hill is covered in wildflowers.

We drove through a aspen copse. This was glorious now, but I can only imagine in the fall when the leaves turn.
We hit a Target for some supplies on the SLC side. And then headed back. There was a cool WPA looking electric building.

And a lovely stream.

We stopped for lunch on the deck.

And saw a unimog(? Spelling ?), like our friends at Kid.Dog.Travel have, albeit without the living quarters attached.

And our usual picture.

Ewww… smooching. Tomorrow, the wedding of the decade.
