Accidental Homesteader
…a funny thing happened on the way to the bar
I love Vancouver!
We got up this morning and took the water taxi to Granville island. We spent the day wandering around the island, and buying provisions.
We now have several cheeses, pickles, fruit, mustard, and meats. We will not starve.
The aqua us is great. We bought a day pass.
We went along false creek, looking at the architecture. This building bothers me at a very deep level.
There was artwork along the inlet.
We saw a bunch of boats from a variety of places.
The public market is great, but overwhelming. Stalls and people everywhere.
We went to a bunch of little shops.
And had lunch at the brewery.
We were exhausted, so we came back and took naps, then went to dinner at Fanny Bay oysters. Yum!
