Dinner 2

Dinner two went without a hitch – beef stew.

Used beef from the local meat market, Yoder Meats. We buy our meat in bulk, some pork, some chicken, some beef. And then we buy half a lamb from Clark Farms. We end up buying meat at the store, mainly chicken, because we like roast chicken. A lot. Plus we use the carcass for chicken stock.

So yeah, sorry, not vegetarians.

Anyhow, the stew had some of the onions, celery, carrots, cabbage, and potatoes. I had a can of chicken paste, but otherwise I’d have used some of my canned tomatoes from last year to make the paste.

Yesterday’s salad will be tomorrow’s lunch for the husband, along with some stew. My lunch will be quinoa and vegetable salad.

No eggs from the chickens today, which means they’re laying somewhere funny. Easter Egg hunt tomorrow!
