Farm to Table (with a pass through the kitchen)

Friday night we had a lovely dinner at Elderslie Farm

It’s a local farm that has a restaurant during the summer. They specialize in blackberries, but they also have goats!

First was the hors d’oeuvres on the patio with a glass of wine.

We moved inside and has a luscious carrot ginger purée with Garlic scrapes at our lovely table.

Pasta with rabbit.

Eggplant salad.

Braised beef and chèvre rice and blackberries.

Dessert was a peach tart with lavender ice cream. The tart was awesome, although I’m not fond of floral tastes in my food.
All in all a lovely evening.
