Creativity

This will be the summer of working on creative stuff.

I have been doing a bunch of things lately to be creative. So here goes!

I work with AI a lot in my job. My day to day includes testing AI answers to legal questions. So I play in it a lot.

I decided, after trying a new hobby – Diamond Art – that I would try fifty hobbies before my birthday. I had Copilot give me a list of fifty craft and homesteading ideas. I’ve already done a lot of them, but it is getting me to try new things.

I’m still enjoying flower pressing. I even planted some flowers in my garden to grow my own. I have a good, big, flower press, but my small one works well for everyday flowers. the peonies are too big though.

Our asparagus patch really took off this year. I’m going to see where we have gaps and plant more next spring. I’m really pleased with it. I bought some raw milk from a local farm and made farmer’s cheese, and made asparagus tarts a couple of times.

Just three ingredients – milk, lemon juice, and salt. I made it in the same way as I do goat cheese.

I also picked up some origami paper and made a few things. I’ve always sucked at making origami, but remember my motto!

My first tries, a turtle, a bird, and a cicada.

Oh, and below is my partially complete garden map. More on that later.
