Totally not an ad, but definitely a recommendation.
When I first moved out to a homestead, my best friend sent me a great pinafore for my indoor/outdoor work.
Highly recommend the Rough Linen Pinafore. It’s a bit spendy, but it is great. Works for all body types, and has lovely huge pockets to stash gloves, phone, sharpies, ties, stray seeds, Kleenex, a knife…
That’s what is in my pockets right now. I usually have a walkie talkie in there too, but the batteries are dead. We like to have walkies when we are working on different parts of the property.
If you don’t want to spend as much on an apron, they are pretty easy to make. There are dozens of patterns on Pinterest.
I cannot stress enough the need for pockets! Two large pockets. One, and your stuff will gather in the middle and fall out. Two deep pockets are the way to go.
