Badger badger badger badger Mushroom!

We got our first mushroom!

Last spring we took an old log and drilled holes in it. We placed it in a shady, damp place under the tree line. We put the shiitake plugs in and covered the holes with wax. Watered it, and let it be for a year.

Woohoo!
