Cool Stuff in Wichita

I had to make myself scarce yesterday so the husband could do some plumbing work, so I ran errands in town. One thing I love about Wichita is that there is surprisingly good architecture in town. We’ve got a Frank Lloyd Wright house, some Proudfoot and Bird buildings, and other assorted lovelies.

One thing I love is the architecture of North High and the bridge over the Arkansas next to it.

The bridge has lots of carved art along the posts.

Bison.

Native Americans.

At some point, I need to go on the Allen Lambe House tour again, it was just around the corner from my old house in Wichita.
