So yesterday we found the secret cache of eggs that our chickens have been laying. Since we didn’t know how long this had been going on (there were 24 of them), we did the float test. I’m happy to say that none of them are witches.
They all drowned.
You can see that some of them are upright, and some are laying flat. The flat ones are the freshest, and the upright ones are still good, but older. So I scrubbed them all clean and put them in the fridge.
Note: until you wash them, they can stay on the counter in the skelter. I should make a quiche probably.
