Scenic Drive (an Understatement)

The Denver part of our trip came to an end, and we decided to take the long cut back to the cabin. Four hours, and two snowstorms later, we completed the 65 mile trek.

We headed out of Golden on 93 to 72, then up 7, the Peak to Peak Highway.

Lots of the windy windy.

And a couple of stops to check out the scenery.

And more good views and windy windy. On the horizon it was looking a bit grim though.

In Nederland, the wares were looking a bit grim too.

Snow snow snow. But that’s why we bought the Subaru.

Then another stop.

And some more windy windy.

And more snow.

Here’s the road we took, from Nederland to Estes.
