Hatch Day 2022
Hatch day is here! We started the day great! With two of the unsure ones pippin and zippin.
But, thus far, all we have are those two. We will keep them going through the weekend.
I heard cheeping in the morning, and by two pm, one had pipped. Another one pipped in the afternoon. by evening we had one chick out.
This is the first year we’ve had the incubator out of the mud room, where the kittens can’t go. Ari is very very interested in the box with moving, cheeping, things.
I ended up putting netting around it for protection.
Overnight we got the other chicken.
Initial names are Spot and Blondie.
