Three coop family.
We currently have three chicken coops. We are going to need a bigger boat. With 20-odd new chicks we were hurting for space, we love the coop the Husband built, but we decided on a few tweaks,
Our first one was a pick it up and it is yours. We painted and put on the roof.
Next we used plans from ——-.
And made this. Lovely coop.
At this point, most of the adult chickens sleep here. Four stay in the first coop, and three or so have eschewed coops altogether and hang out in the garage.
And this one that we bought and assembled. For 20-ish chickens who free range, that’s enough.
But the peeps are getting bigger, and have almost outgrown their brooder. So work is ongoing with the new coop. More to come!
