All I Learned About Planting Potatoes, I Learned From Watching The Martian
This year I’m trying potatoes for the first time. Hopefully it will work.
Planting two different types, Kennebec, and Norland.
First, you take the seed potatoes (already with chits). Cut them with an eye or two on each piece. The leave them to callous over.
Then I prepared by containers. I’m using two types, a flannel bag and coconut stuff bags.
I saved the coffee grounds for a few days, and put a handful in every hole.
Then I put in the pieces of potato and covered.
Let’s hope we can have potatoes this summer!
