Accidental Homesteader

We’ve gotten to the point that we get more eggs per day than can fit in our egg holder on the counter top, so we bought a skelter.

But I wanted to be able to tell how old our eggs are. So I made some markers to show the day that the egg was laid. I got a bag of wooden discs.

I painted the discs different colors.

And using a paint pen, wrote the days of the week on them.

I did two of them for each day, so we can have more than one week. And now they live near the skelter.
