This couldn’t go on Monday, because this is Prairie Peacock’s present, and I went to lunch with her on Monday (I presume, I’m writing this on Sunday).
Her present was similar to the other but different. My friend who had the flower pressing party sent me home with a book to press flowers.
It had quotations. I (sorry librarians) cut out a page from the book with a lovely quote about friendship. I painted it with mod podge and put a sprig of dried flowers on it. Then I painted over the flower to help keep it together.
